Chef Sara Tong-Ngork
Over the course of her twenty-year career in the industry, Chef Sara perfected her expertise at Lemongrass, Bangkok Thai Restaurant, Alfa Bar and Restaurant, and most notably, The Century Club of Syracuse. Her twelve-year tenure at The Century Club of Syracuse gave Chef Sara the private club experience necessary to make her transition to Bellevue smooth and seamless. Before taking over as Executive Chef in March of 2016, Chef Sara Tong-Ngork worked at Bellevue for eighteen months as a member of Chef Pontello’s team.
When it comes to her food philosophy, Chef Sara strives to mix classic traditions with exciting and bold flavor trends, which explains Bellevue’s ever-changing menu. In doing so, Chef Sara buys the most quality, locally sourced ingredients and prepares them in a way that highlights their natural flavors. With her extensive background in food preparation, fine dining, and kitchen management, Sara quickly became a valuable addition to the Bellevue family.
